Team Registration Process
About team racing
Team racing is the soul of swimrun.
- Team entries are available in the Experience and Enduro races
- Teams consist of two people completing the races together, side-by-side
- There are three categories: Male, Female, and Mixed (1 Male & 1 Female)
- There are two age groups: Open (all ages), Masters (Combined 90+ with youngest at least 35 years old)
- The price for a team entry is 2 x the race entry price (e.g. Solo x 2)
How to enter as a team
Preparation
- Choose your race
- Find your teammate
- Choose a 'team captain'
- The team captain will complete the registration and single payment for both participants
Note: The team captain will need to collect personal information from the other participant before starting the registration. See below for details required.
Registration (Team Captain)
- Click on the race of your choice
- Choose 'Yourself' to register first
- Complete your details
- When asked to 'Add registrant to a team?', click 'Create new team'
- Add your team name
- Select your category and age group
- Click on 'Add another registrant'
- Complete the other participant's details (their email address must be unique)
- Read and sign the Participant Agreement on behalf of both participants
- Decide whether you would like Enhanced Refund Protection
- Enter your payment details
- Submit order
Communications
- The team captain will receive an email confirmation//payment receipt
- Both participants will receive email and SMS communications about the event
Participant details required
- First name
- Last name
- DOB
- Gender
- Email (unique)
- Mobile number
- Suburb/State/Postcode
- Emergency contact name/mobile number
- Triathlon Australia membership number (if applicable)
Also, check with your teammate whether they would like to purchase any of the following:
- Whistle
- Reusable cup
- Merchandise
These items can also be purchased after registration via the event store.
